The problem to be addressed is the lack of a specialized approach to social work that responds to the particularities of the forensic and socio-legal spheres in the country. It has been identified that this deficiency affects the effectiveness of services provided and the quality of care provided to citizens involved in organizational processes and legal issues. A qualitative research methodology with an exploratory approach will be employed, based on literature review for a systematic review of available scientific literature on the subject. This approach will allow the collection of relevant information to analyze the current situation and propose the generation of a series of recommendations based on the findings of the study, aimed at government institutions, organizations, and professionals in social work and the judicial field. Recommendations will aim to strengthen the practice of forensic social work and its effective integration into judicial processes and forensic cases in Colombia. These recommendations will serve as input for the development of a diploma program so that social work professionals acquire the necessary competencies to better perform their work in the forensic field within organizations and in the judicial sphere.
2024-12-27T00:00:00-05:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://190.71.63.135/ojs/index.php/Revistasinergia/article/view/239Inequality in the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the United States and Colombia: A Case Study of the Mining Sector2024-12-28T08:04:52-05:00Juan José Espinal Piedrahitajuan.espinalpi@amigo.edu.coAndrea Vélez Garcíaandrea.velezga@amigo.edu.coMaria José Mazo Madrigalmaria.mazoma@amigo.edu.coJulio César Yáñez Machadojulio.yanezma@amigo.edu.co
This study analyzes the causes of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in the trade of mining products, as well as the presence of foreign companies in Colombia, evaluating their economic, social, and environmental impact. Although the FTA has facilitated trade and attracted investments, it has also generated significant inequalities and issues. Objective: To analyze the impact of the FTA between Colombia and the United States on the mining sector. Method: A correlation analysis is conducted between variables related to the economic, social, and environmental impact generated by this bilateral agreement. Results: Significant inequality generated by the FTA between Colombia and the United States is identified, particularly affecting social and environmental factors in Colombia. Conclusion: Despite the increase in Foreign Direct Investment and exports, the agreement has a negative significance on Colombia's trade balance. Additionally, mining has caused environmental and social issues, including pollution, habitat destruction, and the displacement of communities.
2024-12-27T01:23:48-05:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://190.71.63.135/ojs/index.php/Revistasinergia/article/view/240Digital Transformation Strategies2024-12-28T08:04:55-05:00Magnolia Rodríguez Betancurtmagnolia.rodriguez.b@uniminuto.edu.coSergio Daniel Medina Rojassergio.medina-r@uniminuto.edu.coCarolina Espinosa Avellanedajespinosaav@uniminuto.edu.coMónica Yuranty Serrano Suarezmonica.serrano-s@uniminuto.edu.coFarley Alexander Girón Higuitafarley.giron@uniminuto.edu.co
Digital transformation has been used as a fundamental strategy to respond to the current challenges of the global market, enabling organizations to not only increase their operational efficiency, but also generate a positive impact on their long-term sustainability. The culture of peace invites the construction of behaviors, attitudes, promoting empathy, harmony in our relationships, solidarity; starting with ourselves, but also towards others and the world in which we live. Introducing a culture of peace into our society implies that we are always working to resolve conflicts, differences, and quarrels, with a tolerant, respectful attitude and always aiming for reconciliation. The cultural diversity that our country has, we are rich in customs, religion, race, etc., in that sense this multiculturalism must be protected, respected since we must be treated with equality and respect as stated in the national constitution of our country. From the culture of peace, we bring up a term that is closely linked to this and that is social justice. Rawls suggests that to talk about the principle of freedom and differences we must reflect on how we can initiate this social justice in our environment, from a perspective of equity, and defines it as an equal and differential distribution taking into account needs. We can affirm that peace begins in the first school that life gives us, the family, and that in this the values that are needed for the culture of peace to occur are built, from the first years of life.
2024-12-27T12:08:47-05:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://190.71.63.135/ojs/index.php/Revistasinergia/article/view/243Socio-Emotional Factors and English Learning in University Students at a Public Institution in Colombia2024-12-28T08:05:02-05:00Giselle Cobo OspinaGiselle.cobo@fundes.edu.co
Several studies have investigated the factors that influence second language acquisition. It has been found that teachers play a crucial role in shaping students' emotions and learning experiences, which can positively affect their willingness to communicate in English. Other identified factors include learning experiences with native teachers, previous study abroad experiences, and the willingness to communicate in English. These studies highlight the importance of motivation, attitudes, and the educational, familial, and cultural environment in second language acquisition. Despite the importance of English proficiency in Colombia, the country has underperformed in this area. Although there is no mandatory requirement to teach English in higher education institutions, there are regulations that promote the development of communicative skills in this second language. This study focuses on the Central Unit of Valle del Cauca (UCEVA), where, since 2015, a program for restructuring curricular content and implementing a permanent system of student support and evaluation has been in place to ensure learning success. However, intrinsic factors such as motivation and the desire to learn have been overlooked. This study aims to analyze the English proficiency of university students and explore the relationship between affective, motivational, and attitudinal variables in second language learning among students in the International Business program at UCEVA in Tuluá. Additionally, it analyzes the results of a test based on these variables within the university context of southwestern Colombia. The results show that the teacher and the teacher-student relationship are crucial for developing motivation, which is directly related to student performance. Furthermore, the study concludes that, beyond curricular design, control, and evaluation strategies, motivational strategies must be strengthened to ensure students dedicate more time to studying a second language, aligned with the curricular design's projected number of hours.
2024-12-27T12:25:53-05:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://190.71.63.135/ojs/index.php/Revistasinergia/article/view/244Teaching Strategies Implemented by Trainee Teachers for the Learning of Reading and Writing in Children Aged 7 to 9 Years2024-12-28T08:05:07-05:00Geisha Francis Rengifogeisha.francisre@amigo.edu.coSara Mazo Aristizabalsara.mazoar@amigo.edu.coMariana Yepes Varelamariana.yepesva@amigo.edu.coYessly Herrera Agudeloyessly.herreraag@amigo.edu.coSonia Ruth Quintero Arrublasonia.quinteroar@amigo.edu.co
The general objective of this research is to analyze the teaching strategies implemented by teachers in training for the bachelor’s degree in early childhood education for learning reading and writing in children aged 7 to 9 years. This article aims to do a clinical analysis of the news about protection actions in digital media in Colombia, during the time of the pandemic by Covid-19, using a qualitative approach of an intentional sampling, which allows to identify and understand how the media have presented these news, creating in their own way, a speech of judges’ jurisprudence in these times, which overlaps with judicial reality due to the lack of justice administration’s capacity to communicate its own discourse and make it accessible to people.
2024-12-27T13:16:10-05:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
